Scotch Collie Pups in Oklahoma

New litter of pups recently whelped at Heritage Kennel in Central Oklahoma.

Six pups, 4 girls and 1 boy, 2 blue merle and 4 sable and white, all have full collars.

Great bloodlines, should be good for herding, hunting, vermin control or just plain family dogs.

I found out about this breed in the Countryside magazine. I had two collies, has a child. Our lab is 9 and our retriever/husky mix is 10. I want to have chickens within the next 3 or 4 years. Our Mollie, the mix, is at the vets today. She appears to have diabetes. Don’t know what the outcome will be yet. Angel and Mollies are the sweetest things ever, however, they are retrievers and kill squirrel, turtles, snakes, cats, sssooo Im sure I could never have chickens run loose with them. We would love to SERIOUSLY look into the old scotch collie. My mom who is 84 said her family had one as a child and they were wonderful with all the animals on the farm. I see there is a waiting list. Please let me know how we could go about getting on a list, perhaps a ballpark figure of how much the puppies sell for. Im very familar with Oklahoma as I have relatives that live there in several cities. Is it possible to come see any of these puppies before committing? We live in Fair Grove, MO just 14 miles northeast of Springfield, Mo. Thanks for your consideration.
