I live in Boyne City MI and am interested in this breed How do they differ from a regular rough collie? How much is a female blue merle, and where are you located? How old are the pups. Is the litter registered and have the eyes been checked.

Hello I’m looking for a companion dog. I have been working with dogs for 40 yrs in Nov. I am a dog groomer , trained in positive renforcement training. Dog first aid and cpr. I have previously owned a Jack Russell, prior to Richochet, my husband and myself and Son now married, have owned a Champion line Standard Poodle, Layla. She was sold to us by my great friend in Arizona who raised St. Poodles for 45 yrs. I owned a Shetland Sheepdog , and my first dog was a Schipperke. As a child we owned a tri coloured Collie named Shep. I was only 5 when he died. I am originally from Lancashire England. I have a Scottish aunt who is from Quarter Scotland, near Hamilton. We currently have a Devon Rex cat named Bonnie, she is 5. She has been around our family’s dogs when they come over and my neighbors dogs when they walk round to visit. We do live on a dead end with a huge circle of 15 houses, there’s a small park in the front. Our back garden is very large and entirely fenced 4 foot chain link. I work at a dog facility that trains, has daycare in doors and out, and grooming. Employees encouraged to bring their dogs to work. My daughter in laws parents own property in the countryside and own a horse and a dog, so this new pup of mine will be exposed to everything growing up. We have 5 great nieces and nephews, a nephew due to,have his first baby in Sept. He also owns 2 dogs. We are very dog oriented family. The dogs we own vacation with us, sleep in our bedrooms. Are well mannered, excercised, taught obedience and tricks and games. Our Ricochet slept with Andrew on the bed his whole life. I believe a pet has a right to good food, love, lots of physical and mental stimulation. A right to be a dog and not just be expected to learn everything people want them to learn to fit into domesticated human life. They have a right to run, off leash, trained to be safe of course, running in safe fields, on beaches etc. A dog has to exercise in order to have a healthy happy life. I would prefer a female, but our Jack was a male, and I am open to both . We live in a small city, northeast of Indianapolis Indiana, farms all around within 5 min drive from our home. We like to camp, visit State Parks, walk, fish, gardening, my husband likes motorcycle riding. We are very outdoor oriented. I believe u will be happy to trust us with one of your precious babies, if they become available for sale.

  12. Patricia Upchurch says:

If you maintain an email contact list for potential customers/ adopters, may I please be added? We are not currently ready for a new dog, but will likely be within the next year. After saying goodby to my beloved collie, Darby, a year ago, I would dearly love to share home and life with another wonderful companion. He was a rescue, of unknown origins and experiences, always a little quirky, nervous, prone to seizures and too much barking (I loved him anyway! ) But after dealing with his issues, i would like our next dog to be of known breeding stock and more predictable, reliable traits.

    Thank you!
    Patricia Upchurch
